    Use Waterfalls not Carsons

    Initially the suggested asking price as suggested by carsons was way too high as evidenced by a total lack of interest. After 1 month we dropped the price by 50k (10% reduction) to a price closer to my original thoughts. Eventually a sale was agreed but then post survey the buyers wanted a further inappropriate drop in the price. The buyers estate agents who were also working for the vendors of the property I was buying worked tirelessly to negotiate a settlement. Carsons showed no initiative in the lead for this and the sale would most likely have failed without the other estate agents input.

    Simply excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended.

    Simply excellent from start to finish. I was renting out my property and wanted to sell. I live out of the area so required support to manage and host viewings and generally act on my behalf. I could not have received better service in selling and driving through the sale. Carson and Co got the best price and sold my property within 3 days. I could not recommend them highly enough, not least for their passion, tenacity, market footprint, knowledge of the area and willingness to go over and above for their customers. A big thank you for what could have been a lengthy stressful period. It wasn't and I gained the best outcome.

    My service feedback with Sales

    We sold using their "online" package, this suited us to be able to organise the sale ourselves whilst being able to change to a different package without losing out. They were good to sell the features of this package but didn't set up the portal correctly so we couldn't plan buyers coming round or them actually making an offer. Once under offer they couldn't give out details of our buyers because of legal reasons so we were stuck without contact details defeating one of the perks of the package. The online package is a fixed price yet two weeks after completion we get an email congratulating us on the exchange of contracts and an invoice for the sale?! Great idea with online package but employees need to be trained on how the system works and to fault find. Maybe some communication within the office regarding stages of sale would be useful.

    Very sound and valued advice. I had rejected an online agent after they had repeatedly sent round uninterested potential buyers. However, Gavin and his team from Carsons thoroughly vetted ours and after listening to their advice regarding price of my property, they had a solid buyer within 2 weeks.
